[GWL]: Best Smelling Roses?


As the photographer on 7 rose books now, I have seen quite a few up
close and personal.

For my nose, the Bourbons and most particularly Mme Isaac Periere are
the best fragrant roses.  Mme I.P.'s a big bloomer in the late spring,
has a few during the summer and a fall flush that is the most fragrant
[I just stopped, dashed out to pick one and, oh golly, I'm melting.]  I
was going to list a few other reblooming roses, but there is no close
second for me.
