Another variety to add to the list created by irradiation is the barley Golden Promise. it was popular a few years ago but may now have become a bit outdated.
By the way, at least here in Europe, the Organic Movement bans the use of varieties developed by irradiation. I know its early days - but are there any implications for the shipping of orgnic seeds through the post (clear plastic bags or not!)?
