In my efforts to promote my writing and photography services, I want to learn to write and distribute press releases. This effort is highly recommended in a book I'm reading - Guerilla P.R. Wired by Michael Levine, which describes many low and no cost methods for attracting media attention to your story by using the web and press releases. To learn more about press releases, I recently subscribed to a press release service which may be of interest to other writers, photographers, editors - virtually everyone on this list. Click on <http://www.ereleases.com/news/index.html> enter your info and check the topics of interest to you, such as Gardening and Photography. I hope to receive not only useful, interesting info but also good examples of professionally written press releases. The same site has lots of tips on PR in general.
