Re: Child Gardeners Wanted--Canada & US
Hi. Can't promise that she will write. Devon is in grade 7 and doing
homeschooling. I am hopeful that she will find this an interesting project.
Her passion is animals and she does have a garden and likes to cook. I will
pass the message on that you would like to hear from her.
Thank you for your interest in my books. As a weekly environmental
columnist on recycling and other issues, I decided to write a children's
book on composting to complement the fact sheets and other literature on
composting. I wrote it to help teachers. My second book became a squeal on
vermicomposting. Have the third written, but not as yet, sent it to the
artist.
I had to laugh at myself for my error in sending you that web without
putting worm in front of woman. Just too many Ws I guess. Made me think
that gardeners could now write about the blossoming of women if they get
tired of flowers.
Mary Appelhof has my books on her web and she is the expert in red wigglers.
I have not written any other children's books. Cheers, Larraine.
