Would you consider switching to digital?  It means learning the new technology but it also means that without a darkroom you have complete control of the picture without having to go to a lab or processor.  It also means that if you supply the digital image to whoever you sell the photo to ....they have complete control as well.  You can now buy a Sony F707 for around $700 new, possibly less on ebay and this is the top of the line in prosumer digital cameras.  Spend another $50 for Photoshop Elements and you have all the new technology you need save for the printer.  Even good to great printers can be had for $150.  For any number of reasons...the future is in digital.

(I own a Sony F505 (my wife uses it), a sony CD 1000, a Sony F707, a new Sony F717 and a Sony S85.  The 85 goes everywhere with me...everywhere.  When I'm planning on taking pics it's always the 707 or 717.)  Printing is done on a Canon S520 or S800.  I'm hoping to get into large format printing shortly and for that I'll use a Canon S9000)
