Re: self-publishing

One of the best resources for self-publishers is Publishers Marketing Association. Check out their shared-resources and shared-marketing opportunities at their web site. I've worked with them off and on for about 10 years and they are a wonderful group of self-publishers and small publishers.... www.pma-online.org
In my experience, about 90% of the publishing effort is marketing...so ya' gotta love selling and promoting to have a good fit for self-publishing.

Another idea is to have a nonprofit organization publish your booklet as a fundraiser for the group...that way you can share the selling work.
