This is an incredible place, even with its well documented tree abuse ;-)
This is a family theme park which both my (then) 2 year  old grandson and I
both enjoyed immensely. Michael Bonfante went to a lot of trouble to showcase
Axel's mutated trees in this park and it is both inspiring and confusing (why
did he do that to that poor tree). As a nurseryman he had the knowledge and
tools to move the trees from their site in Scotts Valley to Gilroy. (quite a
feat) Now many people can enjoy them.

They have a delightful booklet that shows old photos of Axel's projects.
