Doreen, if you feel like a dinosaur come over to my
house- you'll fit right in with this reactionary. I try to have presentations
prepared in two "formats" if that's the correct word. The first is for the slide
projector and the second is for the overhead projector. That's right, I get a
lot of my photos scanned and reproduced on clear plastic film. (If I remember
correctly this replaces the obsolete(?) thermograph.)
For some reason, whenever a bulb burns out or the
carousel doesn't turn etc.etc. and the slides are rendered useless, we've always
been able to dig out an overhead projector from a broom closet. Seems that every
church, school, meeting hall, etc. has one stashed away somewhere
The quality is acceptable- no wow! factor here- but
it is an excellent system.
