Re: copyright

I don't find copyright in GWL archives at all. Is it necessary to claim copyright in an e-article? How does one establish the date an e-article was created? Thank you, Margaret Lauterbach
Are you looking to copyright your own e-article? In theory, you own the copyright to everything you write, unless you specifically sign away the copyright to someone else. For e-articles, you can simply put the copyright notice at the end though I suppose you could put it at the beginning as well. The year of creation is part of the copyright, i.e . © Margaret Lauterbach, 2004. If you want to be more specific, put the date at the top or bottom as well.

I am sure you can register the copyright with the copyright office but I've never done it.

Nan (where it is unbelievably smoky and the sky is putty colored but fire support is supposedly on its way -- it took only three days to get here!):
