Fw: unusual holiday plants?
We are having technical difficulties with some accounts. Susan McCoy and
Ellen Zachos cannot post to the listserv, yet they receive all posts. I'm
forwarding two posts that Susan wrote this morning in response to earlier
requests.

What about mini-holiday trees like Norfolk Island Pines. They're cute,
inexpensive and best of all "green" -- no live trees to cut down, no
dead needles to clean up and no discarded tree to drag to the curb and
overload the landfills. They're easy to grow, great for small spaces
and make wonderful indoor plants all year long. You can buy them "naked"
or pre-decorated with gift tags.

> And hey, I LIKE painted poinsettias!
I LOVE painted poinsettias...I have just already included them in this
article. The purple ones with a touch of metalic copper are especially
striking, and the blue ones FLY out of the garden center.
Thanks, everyone - keep the suggestions coming!
