Re: Rose Recomendation
Hi, Sheri!
By "them," I assume you mean High Country Gardens. I can highly recommend them as a very reputable mail order source for excellent quality and unusual plants. They specialize in drought tolerant perennials which are how they got started. I've ordered from them several times over several seasons and have always been more than satisfied.
Can't comment on the roses.
Best regards,

Subject: [GWL] Rose Recomendation
Hi. I was online looking this morning for seeds of both Rosa damascena and
Rosa gallica var. officinalis. Needless to say I did not find a seed source
but did come across the High Country Gardens website offering these roses.
Does anyone know anything about them or have a source for these roses,
preferably a seed source so I can have several. It is important that the
botanical names are correct as I will be using the hips and distilling the
fragrance.
Thanks,
Sheri
