Re: Downloads free for Symposium attendees?
I don't have a problem paying a nominal fee for the recordings as I know
the equipment & time to do/edit them is pricey. Be nice though if GWA
attendees had a discount rate to reflect the fact that we made the time and cost
investment to attend in person.
But I'm actually more interested in getting jn handouts & the Powerpoints,
some from seessions that ran short or had not turned there's in on time
to get copied* These were supposed to be posted, but I don't see them.
Anybody?
*Really, in the 21stC is that still a problem? I understand wanting
speakers to submit in advance, but sometimes that is just not feasible and life
happens. Places like Kinko's and on-site business offices are there for a
reason. Say when we run short of complete program books or a session is
better attended than expected. Surely, one staffer could email a PDF to a local
quick printer and have it delivered within the hour to the convention
center.
Sincerely,
Kathy Jentz

I heard talk of this possibility when I was in RAleigh and sure hope
that's still a possibility. To be there and have to choose between breakouts
and then have to pay more to hear what I missed - ugh.
Now what do you all think? I know you won't hesitate. Susan
