Re: Book recommendations (Karan Davis Cutler)

I'll be as bold as Leigh and suggest my book Burpee-The Complete Vegetable
and Herb Gardener. Its approach is organic, it covers all the gardening
basics, including pest and disease control, and has a comprehensive
encyclopedia of edible plants.

If you had to recommend one book to a newbie vegetable gardener, what would
it be? I'm trying to think of something that explains the what and how of
basic edible gardening but also deals with pests and diseases and how to
handle them. Sort of like the upcoming "What's Wrong with my Plant?" Any
suggestions? Thanks!
