If I can con Sara into holding down the bar while I'm finishing up with the
first-timer's reception, I'd say that I'll do the head count.  I'll call the
facility tonight and pull together a space that can hold us.  I believe that
there's usually about 25 of us.  If my rapidly fading memory serves.

So, can I have a head/hand count of who would come to a gathering on Friday
afternoon between 2:30 (opposite the first timers reception for those of you
who aren't or won't go) until 4:30 PM.  The trade show opens at 3:30 so
there will be overlap on the last hour as well.

It's a crush.  Does anyone have another suggestion?

I am not attending the GWA Symposium, as I'm traveling to New Mexico and
Calif.  Oct. 17.  Too much to do all once, and I've seen everything on GWA
agenda, as my kids live in the Phoenix area where I visit often.

Bottom line is that I've not planned a GWL gathering.  Anyone who would like
to do so, please feel free.  I usually contact the bar or lounge in the host
hotel to make arrangements for a private space and appetizers.  You'll need
to announce the gathering, get a head count and share costs for nibbles with
everyone.

I'll be in Quebec in 3013, for sure, and we'll have a gathering then.
