Re: Seed Question

Lorraine -- Renee Shepherd and Allen Bush (Jellito) are both GWA members, so you might start there. Allen's company does not have veggie seeds and he's very nice and helpful and might be able to give you some of the ins and outs.

Hello, Everyone!

This list has been very quiet, but maybe I can change that...

Last season, one of what I thought was an ordinary Waltham Butternut squash plant produced ginormous specimens that measured more than 14" and and several pounds each. We saved the seeds to see if they would come true in 2013 and indeed they did. I shared the seeds with other gardeners/testers and they also had the same results. So now I think I may have something to sell to one of the seed companies.

I have no clue how to do this, where to start, etc. Anyone have any experience with this? It's easy to make a phone call to a place like Johnny's, for example, but after that, there's the shark pool!

Thanks, as always,

Lorraine
