RE: [GWL]: Microsoft XP Version 2002

Sheri,
The computer guru in the Detroit News said that what happens is the program
will check out all the hardware and software you now have on your machine
and send a report to Microsoft.  Then if you want to change your printer you
have to contact Microsoft by phone so they will do whatever is necessary to
make the new XP Windows accept the new add-on.  The columnist thought this
was terrible; so do I.

Hello.  Is anybody else running this program?

Microsoft sent it to me last night and I installed it.  So far, so good.
It certainly seems to run fast and I'm on a 233 with 64 RAM.

I think it actually sped my machine up.

It automaticllay uninstalled my Office when it installed itself.

The only drawback is a technician told me you can't reinstall it if you
upgrade or change your system in anyway.  Anybody know more about this?
