I remember The Sieve fondly, too. When I had a question, I could call and
someone would kindly photocopy material and send it on to me. Every few
months they also sent me, unbidden, a list of new materials that they
thought I might be interested in. You're right, Jeff, it was an
information-junkie's heaven.

Incidently, I really like the clipping service that was advertised here. I
subscribed and have found a couple of articles that I needed desperately and
which I would not have been able to find elsewhere.  Thanks.
