FWIW, Dr. Bargyla Rateaver has produced a creditable substitute for the
Sieve with her book, The Organic Primer.  It's a huge collection of articles
and items of all sorts relating to organic growing.  Not really cheap, but
it's HUGE and Dr. Rateaver has published it herself.  In fact, the sales of
the book is her main source of income.  Put her name in a search engine to
get her web site - you'll never get anyone but her.
