Sally Secondary is fine. The specific problem that I encountered yesterday was concerning Charlemagne. I have a list of 72 plants that he apparently required people to grow. The list is in a small book that I picked up last yr that was written in german and translated to english. I would like to verify that he did indeed require certain plants to be grown before I include that idea in my work. I do know that at Silchester they have done pollen analysis and found some interesting plants that were grown at that Roman villa site. As a source, I feel comfortable using that information. Perhaps I am going into this too deeply. How do others do research? Katy Living just one cornfield away from civilization
