RE: Friendly worms or killer worms???


Dear Doreen

Great rant! I really appreciate your points. In my own books, I don't
recommend materials or practices that I believe to be injurious. When I
am editing a book that includes something I wouldn't use, I generally
slip in a gentle caveat. I don't make it a big thing, but I do insert a
cautionary phrase or so. That keeps me working and also prevents me from
feeling like a hypocrite.

 You make excellent points, Jeff.  Part of the problem is that many
publishers and in turn managing editors will edit out controversial
things
