Hi Friends,

I sure hope our gardenwriter friends in the South are doing well........

All accross America charities and the emergency network are  
strained.  This is why it is more important than ever to follow up on  
Plant A Row for the Hungry in YOUR neighborhood.  Relieve the strain  
locally and let some of that help and expertise go South. Yes, you  
can help hurricane victims thousands of miles away by getting your  
readers, viewers and listeners to donate food LOCALLy.  Please, this  
is what the PAR network does best. Get on it right a way. We make a  
difference. Spread the word. Take food to food banks right now.
