GWL conference

For those of you who did not go to Portland - you missed a great  show.  
Fun talks on blogging and networking thru the web; meeting up with old  
friends and acquaintances and all the vendors that make up a great show. Not to  
mention great gardens to walk through.

Garden writers though add something else to the show that makes it unique -  
bright red feather boa things around everyone's neck and matching martinis 
being  just the start of the fun.  Horticulturally inspired songs by the Chorus 
of  the Goddess Flora entertained us at Plant Nerd Night.

And then there was the karaoke night -  All those editors that reject,  or 
ignore you work (and sometimes like your ideas) cavorting around the  dance 
floor, and some taking a turn at the mike - some could even sing  well!

And for those at the post karaoke group with lessons in belly dancing -  
well, lets hope those pictures do not get broadcast too far!!

Hope everyone had fun, and returned home safely, and inspired,
