New media campaign about lawn/anti-lawn - send us your links!

8 garden communicators and one film producer/conservationist have teamed up to compile resources about 3 things: regionally appropriate turfgrass types, organic and low-water care of existing lawns, and design ideas for reducing or replacing lawns altogether. We call ourselves the Lawn Reform Coalition: www.lawnreform.org

If you've written something about these topics, send me the link so we can check it out and if it's on-topic, put it on the website. Or if you know of other great resources we might include, send them too. Also success stories - signs that progress is being made, at least in places.

We launch today with a contest to win a copy of the new John Greenlee/Saxon Holt book The American Meadow Garden. Details about entering to win one, plus more about the Coalition, are on GardenRant: http://www.gardenrant.com/my_weblog/2009/09/lawn-reform.html
