Re: American Garden Awards

Duane,

For the past twelve months or so, Nona Koivula (All American Selections)
has been sending out notices (snail mail and email) regarding the
American Garden Awards -- a sort of "Peoples Choice Awards" for
flowers. Seventeen national gardens, including Chicago Botanic Garden,
Cantigny, New York Botanic Garden, etc. participated. Visitors to the
parks had the opportunity to whip out their cells while strolling
through the park and vote for their favorite flower either via text
message or dialing an 800 number. Today she announced the winners --
the notice you are referring to.
