Re: New Plants and Products?
Daryl -
For me the "wow" was the hosta collectors and the hosta nursery we saw on
the bonus tour. We can grow them here, but not half so lush and
full-looking.
Another "wow" for me (and many others) was the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
We spent far too little time there and I need to go back to explore the
whole sculpture garden and the inside of the museum too!
Finally, I absolutely adore miniatures (gardens and dollhouses) so one of
the new exhibitors who specializes in mini-garden kits was a real highlight
for me. Her company name is the "Miniature Garden Shoppe" -- see
_www.MiniatureGardenShoppe.com_ (http://www.MiniatureGardenShoppe.com) .
I posted 3 photos albums from the tours so far at:
facebook.com/WashingtonGardenerMagazine
I will add another 2 albums this weekend. Those should give you some ideas
and highlights.
Sincerely,
Kathy Jentz
