Re: Seedling growth (Mike Groothuis)



     Bill I usually remove scapes prior to flowering in young plants or
first and second year TC's. Is this a common practice with others? I am under
the impression that this saves plant strength for winter survival and quicker
maturity and have been doing it for many years. Can anyone tell me if this is
in fact true or wasted time and concern?
