Re: any help would be appreciated

I'm afraid we're all toast, Judy. Over on the Perennials list people are talking about covering beds with remay cloth, but I'm afraid I just have too many hostas to make that practical. So what freezes, freezes. It's especially frustrating since the Sluggo seems to be doing such a good job and the hostas are beautiful.

It won't kill them, I guess, but they will sure look like hell the rest of the year.

I know we are probably all watching the weather with fear.....but here in Virginia we are supposed to have two nights of freezing weather after a week of 80+ temperatures. All the hosta are up, some as high as 12 inches or so. I have a very large garden, no automatic sprinkler system. Any suggestions???? Could I just water late that night? I haven't finished cutting hosta leaves from the teen temperatures in March....so depressing! Judy in Virginia, depressed!
