Gardener's Diary
A Renovated Mill Garden
Episode GRD-801

Host Erica Glasener visits with Barbara Tiffany, who created gardens on ten acres that surround an old grist mill. The garden is now seven years old. Tiffany plants her gardens by colors. Her bronze border includes exotic ornamentals. Variegated hosta called 'Spilt Milk' is one of her favorite plants. A long border called the "Miracle Mile" is filled with plants that have yellow leaves. Her yellow garden includes Boston ivy called 'Fenway Park'. 'First Lady' is a variegated dogwood that adds light to the long border.
