I have found the easiest way to kill grass is to kill it with kindness=
apply a lot( LOTS) of a granular fertilizer over the area. Water well. Grass
should be dead in 2-3 days.(Of course, you do not want the fertilizer to
come
into contact with the hostas. Use something rather bland like
12-12-12.)CCREDUX@aol.com
VERY GOOD SUGGESTION! THIS WILL WORK. SHADE GRASS DOES NOT DO WELL WITH
LOTS OF FERTILIZER ANYWAY.
