Hi G,
The interest in alfalfa among hosta growers is in the triaconatol it
contains. It's a safe-to-use and cheap plant growth stimulant. Van Wade of
Wade and Gatton Nursery first brought it to our attention and I believe he
still uses it regularly. Nobody grows hostas bigger and better than Van
does, so a lot of weight is put on his choice of nutrients.
