Since everyone is sending their opinion of your hosta with white flowers
growing in everyone's yard, I think you are seeing Plantaginea or what my
grandmother and my neighbors always called August Lilies. They were the first
hostas I ever had, and I still have a large row of them along the garage and
patio. They are easy to grow, multiply well, and the slugs leave them alone.
