Just for those who want to know
laevigata is a hybrid based on its low pollen fertility 
Proof? Schmid nows calls it a "specoid" 
Hirao Tetra is not a tetraploid but just a diploid as shown by its 
DNA content
Overhere all open pollination is done by bumble bees rarely a honey 
bee Occasionally there are also hoovering flies eating the 
pollen, even from the stigma.
