Round Up in December?

Now that all my hostas are down and I've removed the mulch from my beds for
the winter, I've noticed a massive growth of weeds with this extended fall
weather. Is it OK or effective to use Round Up this late in the season if
temps continue to stay in the 50's for the next week?
