RE: Cranes

Barbara-

Boy that brings back memories. My Grandparents had
a farm mid state in WI. Every Fall the Sandhills would
use their farm, (or some near by landmark) as a start
point for the migration south.

It was simply amazing. They would circle all day long
above the farm. They would be, what seemed, thousands
of feet up in the sky circling. Every so often another
couple would join in the circle. Calling out as they
hung up their like tiny dots in the sky. Then they'd
be gone.

Harry:

There are few things as impressive as a flock of sandhills flying
overhead.
You can hear them coming before you can see them...........beautiful.
Saw a
lot of them in Montana in the fall.
