Dear Phoenix List members:
I have just been informed by Carolyn that my post requesting information
about the auction may have been a "put down" of those of you who have
donated and those of you who are participating. My sincerest apologies; I
in no way intended to do so. I simply didn't understand what it was all
about and was requesting information.
However, I am about to break my first rule of internet etiquette - posting
a part of a private message to the list without permission. On Tue, 07 Dec
1999 09:31:15, Carolyn Schaffner said:

But any further foray into this kind of hostile remark will get you
removed from this privately managed ROBIN!"
I consider that to be an unreasonable, over-reactive, and hostile response
to my post (original below). So it is with regret that I will resign from
this Privately Managed ROBIN, and seek a hosta list that is managed by
adults. Some of you will say 'Good riddance," I'm sure, and that is your
right. I'll see the rest of you on hosta-open.
