Re: Streaked Breeding Hosta List


Hi Dan my old mate.
How are you defining streaked breeders? I ask cos my data base says approx
250 streaky plants exist and of course we all know that there is probably a
streaky example of every hosta somewhere waiting to be found.
BUT it may not be fertile, or be hardly fertile, or be a pretty poor
specimen to
pick for a parent, or a Ventricosa that only self fertilises.
Unfortunately I cant print out all my noted 250 but I could try for a
narrower band width given the criteria.
