Hi,
Here in the Tri-State NY,NJ & Ct area there are no taxes if an item is
shipped. Wouldn't that apply to plants as well? I have purchased rugs and
jewelery in NY state and had the items shipped to save the state sales tax.
If I recall, when watching infomercials...taxes only apply to persons living
in the state from which the item is shipped.
Nurserymen who do shipping would know more than I but that is my opinion.
