She's dead now, but honest to God, she hated Poles. In high school she met one of my girlfriends
once and she pulled me aside and said "She's very pretty girl. She's not Pollack is she?" It
always baffled me how a Lithuanian could look down on anybody, but that's the way it is. We all
have to hate someone.
