I understand that this is a "dead issue" because it has been passed by the board.
 
I just disagree with your "better logic" that uses auction funds and other monies to subsidize only American subscriptions while at the same time surcharging almost all international members.
 
I am sorry to hear that it is your opinion that if I don't like the policy that I should leave the society. I am sure there are many people over the years that have taken opinions such as yours to heart and have left. Maybe I will leave one day too.

I have been perfectly clear on the subject and I think it is a shame that you
can't accept a dues increase that was appropriately developed.  All you are
trying to do is keep pushing a dead issue.  The dues increase was
appropriate. It was passed by the board at a meeting designated for the
purpose after having been announced six months in advance and open debate.  
It was developed with better logic than any local society develops its dues.  
 In my opinion, if you don't like it leave the society!
