I have excerpted 5 phrases from Bobs' post that I don't agree with. There are more.
 
"It does not matter in the least "
"It doesn't even matter " 
"makes no difference" 
"does nothing constructive"
"Prove it to somebody that matters," 
 
Bob, It does matter, it does make a difference, it is doing something constructive, and we are "somebody that matters"!
 
I don't buy into your "we are nobody" reasoning.
