Can't help a whole lot..I get Fafard from my local nursery when I can. They
order it occasionally when they can't get Pro-Mix. I'd prefer the Fafard
over the Pro-mix, but I can't convince them to special order it for me
("They're both the same thing," he says). Hah!

Metro-Mix I have seen at Walmart..Have never tried it, but will now after
recommendation on this list.

I order a couple of bags of Park's seed-starting mix every year..It works
well for me. Schultz also makes a seedstarting mix, but again, haven't
tried it, can't vouch for it.
