Didn't to ninimumize it, it is a pain in the neck.  Still snowing here with over two feet on the ground.  I just think this is typical of the scare tactics the news "business" uses to sell publications & get attention.  In this case, I wouldn't be surprised if it was also used to help get extra state and federal  $.

Hi Ran
I had been watching the snow on the news for the last few days and 7'
would be level with the tops of pickups and darn near as high as the
tops of first floor windows on houses. This snow seems to be about waist
high or so. Still it is more than I would want to deal with.
