Re: Why Grow Other's Seeds?

Hi Chick,
          On the subject of misleading crap, can we go back to the post where
you said "No, actually I'm only 27 but I really like old people's music."? For
those who don't know the not-always-honest-about-all-the-little-details Chick,
I found this photo among the ones submitted for the First Look website. Have a
look and see if even Tina the Cheerleader can mistake this guy for someone in
their twenties. Hope Dan's security let's this through.



        I have to agree with him on those rare occasions when he is actually
telling the truth (or at least the whole truth), but fortunately most of the
time he has more interesting things to say. He is right in that the odds of
getting something good from such common seed are pretty astronomical. If you
don't have too many good plants to get seed from, many nurseries and
collectors probably wouldn't mind if you ask to collect seed in the fall that
they have no use for. You can get seed from more interesting newer varieties
that way.
        So Chick, you weren't really the Seedscam Guy disguising yourself by
putting one of your own plants on the list and then complaining about it were
you? :-) Oh what tangled webs we weave.
