A SNOWFLAKE THINKS OF SPRING
White, the snow outside
Reflecting all colors
Absorbing none
Tiny, frosted prisms
Refract the sun's rays
Each color of the rainbow
Held in each tiny crystalline moment
Waiting for Spring,
Each snowflake waits, quietly
To feed these colored memories
into each flower born anew
