This order was held in customs for about two weeks. Just to prove how hardy
hostas really are I thought you might like to hear what happened a few weeks
later. I have always thought if the plants were mature we could ship them
anywhere.

Just a note to let you know that L. Coalminer bounced back like gangbusters.
As I mentioned, I potted it up and put it in a sheltered spot. Well, when I
checked it on Sunday, it had TWELVE new eyes. So thank you for sending such
wonderful healthy plants.
As I travel to iris conventions and meetings, I was wondering if it might be
possible for you to ship to my hotel with phyto etc and then I could avoid
the customs hassle. Let me know if you think we can try this next time.
I would really like to buy from you again. I saw some TCs of Dragonfly and
Dot Com last week and they were pitifully small.
