I buy the cheapest size small rrubber gloves (the ordinary kitchen kind), cut
off the long cuffs, and use them 'til they tear, then throw them out. They last
a pretty long time, and are much sturdier than those stupid surgical gloves the
garden centers/hardware stores keep trying to fob off on us. But every once in a
while, I just havta get in the dirt without protection!
