Hi, Ray:

You raise an interesting point about the crown rot.  In each case, it is the 
center of the clumps where the growth is.  Go figure?!

The 'Jack of Diamonds' was moved to its present location last spring to give 
it more light.  The other hosta that surrounds JOD are all doing exceptionally 
well.  Even the dwarf rhodies are doing better as well.
