Hi Dorie, Nice to hear from you. Long time no see. I enclosed the half of a
seedling left by the rabbits. I am hoping that he leaves this part. I would
like for it to grow so that I can tell more about it next year.

I believe you have hit on one of the causes of more wildlife in your
garden.
We too have had the woods behind our property removed to build a high
density subdivision.
Our yard in now the only haven for the wildlife because we are the only yard
that is full of native habitat.
I too am allergic to cats but we had an out door cat for years.
Now our cat is 22 years old and is too old to hunt out of doors.
