Hi all,
In re the size of clumps:
I 'd guess that most sellers of relatively new cultivars are a little bit wary
of indicating ultimate clump dimensions, for the reason they dont know!! As I
recall, Zumbars 'Sultana' was indicated as a miniature. That means leaf size.
However, I have seen it in two gardens where it is a small to medium with
quite a large clump diameter.
The clump size depends upon so many factors that I would be reluctant to
advise.
Best bet=== plant one divsion specimens on two-foot centers, unless you know
you have got one of which everyone knows the ultimate diameter.
One thing for sure, as to newly registered cultivars==you cannot rely on the
registration info as to ultimate size.
