I'd propose an amendment that required all changes to be published
in an AHS publication or sent by mail to each member a minimum of
45 days prior to the convention.  Options should be available for
mailing in your vote, voting at the convention, or voting electronically
thru the AHS webpage.  Anything has to be better than being handed
a packet of papers on the bus while touring gardens all day and then
expecting a limited number of people to make intelligent decisions.
Add to that the fact that the vending opened before the meeting was anywhere
near over causing a large number of people to leave.
Perhaps the meeting should not be held during dinner but at a separate time.
I'd much prefer to hear a speaker after dinner than
deal with business, it causes indigestion.
